One…Emma only has one more week of school…I think I am more excited than Emma when it comes to school being over! I am looking forward to the time off, not to mention not having to get up daily at 5:30 to get myself ready so I can get the kids ready and downstairs to eat by 7:00am! NO SCHEDULE!!! Well I wont jump for joy just yet because I still plan to have to them on “somewhat” of a schedule because I plan to do a lot of educational stuff and I would like to keep those things around the same time everyday!
Two…Yesterday while on Facebook I started following The Crunchy Mommy from a video that one of my friends posted. I also started following her on IG and saw this picture…this picture REALLY spoke to me! A lot of times I feel I don’t have the means to accomplish the goals that I have (at least right now) but instead of focusing on my account…my focus needs to be on God and increasing my faith in Him! Focus on Him and everything else will work itself out!
Three…Im waiting on an Erin Condren planner to get here. I have big plans for it! HA! No seriously I am going to try to keep all my blog stuff and home stuff in one planner! Let’s see how this works! You should totally check them out, I had one in college (YEARS ago) and I decided to give it a try again! I still have my personal planner that goes in my purse but I want one for at home that keeps track of EVERYTHING!!
Four…Next week Darrick and I celebrate 4 years as a married couple! We are planning to get away for a night, to have some alone time. We haven’t been away from the kids all night in a LONG TIME…I’m a little nervous but I know we NEED it!!! We need at least 24 hrs to be Carissa and Darrick and not Mommy and Daddy! So I am looking forward to this time together!
Five…Friday’s are usually our chill day since Emma doesn’t have school. We relax for the entire day until Darrick comes home…WELL I knew I had to run an errand in the morning but that quickly turned into 3 different places on different sides of the town! WHEW I am so not ready…I love my days of doing NOTHING! But these are things that MUST get done so I really don’t have a choice in the matter!
