1. Has your husband ever read your blog?
Yes, he reads it because it comes to him via email! Sometimes I tell him in advance what I am thinking about writing and other times I just let him ask me about it to see if he is still reading!
2. Do you have a favorite quote or motto that you live by? What is it and why?
I have always been a believer…however, when Emma was born with a Cleft Lip/Palate there was so much going on that all we could do was give it to God. And when you give it to Him and let him handle it…everything will work out! There has been so much going on that has been out of our control and I just give it to Him and let Him guide me rather than trying things on my own!
3. What is your biggest pet peeve?
I would have to saying lying…I cant stand a liar!
4. What is your favorite activity to do with Emma?
Well since we have been doing more educational stuff I would have to say that type of stuff is my favorite. I love to see her learn something new!
5. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received about parenthood?
Emma will eat when she gets hungry! LOL…Im literally laughing but this is so true. As a new mom I am still learning stuff and I was freaking out because she wasn’t eating all the time when I fed her…but one day my mom and sister told me don’t force her, they said she will eat when she is hungry and now I follow that rule rather than freaking out!
Also, since Emma was born with a cleft sometimes she does things differently. I have learned from doctors and family to just go with the flow. She will do stuff in her own time, continue to work with her but be patient! Stop stressing and have fun with her! Ever since then we have fun and I worry a lot less…
6. Tell us about the greatest lesson you’ve learned about blogging thus far.
Not to get caught up in the cliques! Do your own thing, and go after things you are passionate about. And do your own research, its fine to get advice from others but make sure you are doing your own research!
7. What is your favorite decade for fashion? Do you have a favorite fashion icon from that era?
I was young during the 90’s but I have always been a fan of the style from that time! I like the hip hop inspired style and the preppy style! Usually I like to mix them together…like have on a cardigan with bamboo earrings! I loved the stone washed jeans and bomber jackets and big earrings, but I equally liked the vest over the white button down and a skirt or jeans!
I didn’t have a fashion icon that I liked during this time!
8. What are some of your favorite online shopping sites?
I have a strategy for my online shopping…I like Amazon (I look everything up on here before buying), I check out EBates for discounts before shopping online!
But as far as stores I like…Etsy, Forever 21, Macys, 6pm.com, Nordstrom, NFL Shop

9. If someone filmed the story of your life, which actress would you want to play you?
I’ve been told many times that Raven Symone and I have the same personality! I have even been mistaken for her before (yeah…not sure about that one) but nonetheless she is one of my favorite actresses!
10. If your life had a soundtrack, what would be the top three songs on the playlist?
