Valentines Day is coming up, and there is no better time than to start prepping now! I’m not sure if people are still indulging in Hot Chocolate Bombs, but with the temperature at 2 degrees! Something warm to drink is EVERYTHING right now! But the good thing is these Valentine’s Day Hot Chocolate Bombs can be created by a simple change of color! Today I will be sharing two different types of Hot Chocolate Bombs; Sprinkled covered Hot Chocolate Bombs and Conversation Hearts Hot Chocolate Bombs. Hot Chocolate Bombs have been all the rage for the last couple of months, and I didn’t get a chance to purchase any but I did learn how to make them! My children love the “idea” of hot chocolate but they don’t love Hot Chocolate! DJ is more marshmallows with a side of hot chocolate, so these bombs are more for Darrick and I than the kids!
But if you or your children are Hot Chocolate lovers they will absolutely LOVE Valentine’s Hot Chocolate Bombs! Emma loved the idea of making them, and she drank a little bit once they were done.
Personally, I LOVE sprinkles so if you’re a sprinkles lover like me the Sprinkled covered Hot Chocolate Bomb will quickly become a favorite for you!

Honestly, the process of creating Valentines Hot Chocolate Bombs is a lot easier once you start making them! And if you make multiple batches the process gets a little easier each time!
I really wish we could have had Valentine’s parties in my children’s classes because these would’ve been perfect to make to share with others! They’re also perfect for children to share with their grandparents or aunts/uncles.
I know They will surely get a kick out of a special sweet treat!
I totally understand if you aren’t a lover of sprinkles, you may want to create another version of Valentines Hot Chocolate Bombs which is Conversation Hearts Hot Chocolate Bombs.
Conversation Heart Hot Chocolate Bombs
These turned out so pretty! Actually, although I LOVE my sprinkles I think these were my favorite to make! And it could be because they’re pink but they just scream Valentine’s Day!

I must share a secret, I’m not a huge lover of conversation hearts. I think they’re pretty but I don’t like eating them, but once you melt them into the hot chocolate they gave it a little bit of a minty taste to the valentines hot chocolate bombs which was a surprise that we LOVED!
I can’t wait to see what other themed combinations of hot chocolate bombs we can come up with! If you love hot chocolate year-round you could definitely make some for each holiday! I’m excited to see what colors people create for St. Patrick’s Day with the gold and rainbows (Or you can try your hand at these Rainbow Hot Chocolate Bombs)!
