Halloween is coming and that means parties everywhere! Neighborhood Parties, Church Parties, School Parties…I never realized until I had children how many events there are centered around Halloween! We used to do the school parties, and we would go to my sisters job for Trick-Or-Treating when the kids were younger. Now that the kids are older and they can’t miss school to Trick-or-Treat at her job, we usually participate in the Trunk-Or-Treat event at my church along with school parties!
At my daughters old school, when you would volunteer to chaperone the parties, you would sign up for regular snacks (i.e. something sugar filled) or a healthy snack! I quickly learned how to make fun healthy snacks that the kids would enjoy along with all of the sugar snacks! And the kids would actually eat them! So it wasn’t like you were making these and the kids would move the healthy snacks out the way to get to the sugar snacks.
Candy Corn Veggie Trays are PERFECT for any Halloween party!
For this particular tray, you only need Cauliflower, Baby Carrots and Yellow Peppers. And you can add the dipping sauce on the side! And for fun, you can add a spider and skeleton hand to add to the Halloween theme!
Once you cut up the veggies into bite size pieces, and arrange them like a large candy corn! You are done! This is probably one of the easiest Halloween themed trays you can make!
