Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate! I love all the pink and red and the hearts everywhere! My daughters birthday is close to Valentine’s Day so it works perfectly because she loves all the red and pink too! I love cookie bars, and adding Valentine’s Day theme to them is absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a fun recipe that your children can help you with, Valentine’s Day Cookie Bars are a great option!
I don’t know about your children’s schools, but mine have a rule this year that we can’t bring in any food for the different parties that they celebrate. However, I am keeping this recipe in my memory bank or Pinterest Board to make sure when this rule is lifted that I can make this for one of their classes! I would love to make them then prepackage them in decorated bags! I’m notorious for having themed ziplock bags!
Since we currently can’t take sweet treats to school I would love to make these for family members and deliver them to their doors! We are still social distancing but surprising Grandparents or Aunts/Uncles would be an awesome idea! And even surprising friends outside of school, with their parent’s permission of course!
This recipe can easily be doubled to make more so you can have quite a bit to share all around!
If you do any type of baking, this recipe will be very easy for you! Even if you aren’t a baker, this recipe should be very easy for you to follow!

What’s fun about these cookie bars is that you can literally make them for any holiday! M&M’s come in different colors for every holiday and the pink and red ones can be switched out for pastels during Easter time! Or if you have a candy store that sells the individual colors, that’s an option as well! You will absolutely LOVE making these bars for Valentine’s Day, or any holiday!
