To me, Halloween is one of those holidays that you can do so much with! You can make it scary or make it fun! I’ve said many times that I like to make it fun with the kids. From their snacks to full meals, we have fun with it! If you are familiar, you know that Uncrustables are a frozen sandwich that started with peanut butter and jelly, but recently started making many varieties of this delicious snack! The great thing about Uncrustables is that kids can grab them out of the fridge and keep moving! They’re perfect for snacking on the go and for additions to meals. With Halloween Snacks: Spider Uncrustables we are using whichever Uncrustable sandwich that you love, and taking it up a notch to create a fun spider snack!
Halloween Snacks: Spider Uncrustables
I personally love snacks that I can create easily, or that the kids can create independently. The kids love when I surprise them with a fun snack, but they equally love when I place everything in front of them and let them be creative and enjoy making their own snacks.
As I stated, Uncrustables come in a variety of flavors and for these, I recommend the peanut butter and strawberry or grape spread. I think the sweetness of the fruit spread helps with the savory flavors of the peanut butter and pretzel rods. No worries, if you’re concerned with sugar amounts, you can make Halloween Snacks: Spider Uncrustables with reduced sugar Uncrustables.
