If you have been on social media then you know there is currently a war between the fall season pumpkin spice lovers and apple lovers. I personally am siding with #TeamApple! I love pretty much apple anything from candles to apple pie! One of my favorite items is Apple Butter!
Honestly, Apple Butter is a year-round staple in my home! I eat it year-round because I love it so much! I just learned how to make it, and it’s been a total game changer!
Instant Pot Apple Butter
I believe if I researched how to make Apple Butter, I would’ve tried making this before now! But I’m so happy that I now have an easy recipe to make my own!
With only 5 ingredients this will probably be the easiest recipe for making Instant Pot Apple Butter that you will have!
Instant Pot Apple Butter
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Apples
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 Tbs Cinnamon
- 2 Tbs Vanilla
- 1/3 Cup Water
Instructions
- Core and slice apples.
- Add apple slices and water to the instant pot.
- Set the Instant Pot vent to sealing, then press the manual button and adjust the time to 15 minutes at high pressure.
- When finished, let the pressure release naturally for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, turn the dial to the VENT position and let the remaining steam release.
- Remove lid.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend together with a hand mixer or pour into a blender.
- If your apple butter is “too runny”, place it back into the Instant Pot and press the sauté button & Sauté until it has thickened.
Last year I scored an Instant Pot brand new for $25 on Black Friday! But you can check out one of the same ones I have here:
