If this last year has taught us anything it has taught us to live in the moment and stop waiting for a special occasion to try something new or add some “extra” to a regular day! Think about how good you feel when you see a rainbow in the sky, why not feel that same way with some rainbow recipes! It’s so much fun!
I remember about 6 years ago, we were stuck at home because of a snowstorm and I wanted something sweet! The only thing I had was Duff Goldman Tie-Dye rainbow cake mix, and I made it in a Mickey Mouse cake pan because I had also received the cake pan when I received the cake mix. These items were leftover from a blog campaign I worked on, and let me tell you it was right on time! Sounds cheesy, but the rainbow cake was EVERYTHING we needed to brighten our spirits about being stuck at home, I’m sure we can all use a rainbow mickey mouse cake right now with the pandemic! Usually here in Cleveland when it snows, we still go about our daily business, but this snowstorm was massive and we were all at home trying to wait it out. The rainbow cake literally put a smile on everyone’s face!
Sometimes it’s the small things that will bring you or your family joy! I’m sure if you make any one of these rainbow recipes your family will absolutely LOVE them!
With the events of the last year, well really with this last week we all had I’m sure we can use something to brighten up our day!
