Thanksgiving will look a little different for us this year. Usually, we are bouncing around from my parent’s house to Darrick’s family house. And although its a lot of running around, we usually have a good time! I think our Thanksgiving Dinner will be a little untraditional this year. This year will be more of a Thanksgiving our way, and I must say I am looking forward to it!
My children only eat “select” vegetables! I’m testing out a couple of recipes to see how they fair amongst the family. Carrots have always been pretty safe in my home and everyone likes them. This is really more of a dish for my children, because they’re so picky with vegetables!
Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots
This is a great recipe for if your children would like to help cook a dish! They can almost make this entire dish by themselves with supervision! Have them rinse the carrots, put them in the pan, and mix the ingredients together!
Once you bring butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to a boil, you’re practically done! You put it in the oven for a few minutes…and BAM its done in about 25 minutes!
I must admit it’s not much to creating Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots. I have also created a dish like this by roasting the carrots on a cookie sheet and enjoying afterwards!
