For the last 3 months, life has been turned upside down by COVID-19! Everything we planned has been changed, and basically canceled. For the last month, I’ve been working the plan from Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion, and I’ve been sharing my journey along the way: why you will love this book, tips to achieving personal goals and checking out my personal goals.
As I reflect on this time, I’m so grateful to be introduced to this book! It’s been helpful in my health journey! I’ve shared many times this year, how this year was my year of getting my health together. And although I haven’t lost the amount of weight that I want, Always Eat After 7pm has played a vital role in the 10lbs I have lost and kept off! The first month after being in quarantine I was surprised by the amount of weight I put on, but not surprised at the same time because cookies have been my comfort! When I stepped on the scale I was the heaviest I’ve ever been and immediately started changing what I was doing.
For me, the best thing to do is cut my sugar intake. Since having being diagnosed with PCOS, I’m learning what works best for me! Now I’ve never cut sugar 100% but once I make a drastic cut I see immediate results! Always Eat After 7pm, has been helpful in creating a plan for me, planning meals out ahead of time.
“Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”
As a mom, one of the biggest challenges in making some lifestyle changes is how this will affect my family. The plans from Always Eat After 7pm was something that I could incorporate my family into, the different meals, my husband following the plan with me…it wasn’t a diet, it was a lifestyle change! And like I said we aren’t where we want to be, but we have started and that’s the first step!
“Always Eat After 7 pm is a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically eating big when you are naturally hungriest—in the evening. This may sound too good to be true, but let me assure you it is no gimmick. It’s all about making strategic and smart food swaps, and you can still eat your favorite foods.”
Moving forward my husband and I have planned to stick with this plan because it’s a great plan for the entire family. One of the things that can deter me from moving forward on a meal plan is having to make multiple meals for my family. However, with this plan, we are all able to eat the same food and no one realizes we are eating from a meal plan.
