Darrick and I originally planned to attend The Cleveland Auto Show during the day because we had press passes. However, plans didn’t work out and we both ended up at work all day! We knew we could use our passes on Friday night, and we went after work for a quick date night!
We dropped the kids off to my parents, and initially, we were told we needed our passes after 4pm, so I didn’t think it was open to the public, but once we got there we learned it was opening night.
The Cleveland Auto Show marks the start of the spring selling season in Northeast Ohio. Featuring concept, pre-production and production vehicles from the world’s auto manufacturers, the show is held annually at the I-X Center with nearly 1.2 million square feet of exhibits.
The Cleveland Auto Show has always been something Darrick and I have mutually loved. We actually started dating around the time of the Auto Show 11 years ago and I invited him when we first started dating and he couldn’t go because he had to work, but he made it up to me and we have been quite a few times since then!
We aren’t in the market for a car, but we had a chance to see the new versions of cars, our dream cars, and cars we plan on looking at when we are back in the market for a car. What I personally love is that you can look at the cars without the salesmen around or the “hounding” of running some numbers. It’s a pressure-free environment to look at cars. On the other side, if you’re interested in speaking with someone there are people available to speak with you about setting up an appointment to come to their dealership!
Darrick and I created a list of cars we loved while walking around The Cleveland Auto Show!
My List…
-
BMW X7

One of the things Darrick and I bump heads on is cars! This time around, we liked a lot of the same cars. This will be great once we are back in the market for a car!
The Cleveland Auto Show is considered a family event in the City. There are lots of people that attend with their children. It works out perfectly if you’re trying to make sure everyone fits when you are looking to get a larger vehicle or even if you’re considering downsizing. This year we attended just the two of us and we had a great time! We moved from car to car with ease and enjoyed ourselves.
