Last weekend we really kicked off some of our Christmas Fun with Breakfast with Santa at the Q Arena. Ever since the kids were younger we have tried to do a breakfast with Santa but it’s usually at a restaurant! This year was a little different since we had a chance to go see him at the Q Arena! It was actually great! The kids got a chance to run around the concourse of the Q Arena…
Breakfast with Santa was sponsored by the CAVS Wine and Gold Nation is the official fan club for the Cleveland Cavaliers! They did an amazing job with this, much like they did with Halloween Party-Only Treats! There were donuts, juice, and coffee for everyone. Throughout the concourse, there were stops the children could make to do crafts and participate in games!
We had a chance to meet the Cavaliers Mascot Sir C.C.!
Having a chance to shoot the basketball a couple of times and get temporary tattoos were high on my children’s list of the fun things we did! DJ went to church afterward and showed everyone his tattoo! Even the next week at school, he rolled up his one sleeve to show his tattoo! Its finally wearing off so I am on a mission find him more CAVS temporary tattoos!
We even had a chance to take a family picture with the basketball court in the background!
I know Christmas is over, however, if you are looking to gift a big or little sports fan, you should gift them with a Membership to the Wine and Gold Nation!
The events that the Wine and Gold nation put on have been awesome and some that I know my children will remember forever! They are little, but I can really see how much fun they have at these events! Honestly, the events at the Q Arena have been some of my favorites to attend with my husband and children! We are a sports-loving family, so these events are perfect for us!! The usually start screaming as we are pulling into the garage next door to the arena! And the Media Crew that handles the Wine and Gold Events are Ahhhhmazing!!!! They have to be at the top of my list of favorite groups to work with as a blogger!
Attending Breakfast With Santa led us to our own festivities at home for the holidays…
We had class parties…
Then we celebrated at home with our own festivities!
We decorated cookies, and made reindeer food (sprinkled it in the grass for the reindeer)!
We had a great time with all the holiday festivities! Christmas has been a hard holiday for Darrick and I, ever since DJ’s twin passed. This year after attending the different events and celebrating at home and just being in our own world for the last couple of days we have had a great time! For me, this has been one of the best holidays in a while! I have even been able to listen to Christmas music again without crying! I Thank God for this…seems like a little bit of healing has happened and for that, I am truly grateful!!!
I loved being able to create the magic for Emma and DJ this holiday season!
