As a Feld Entertainment Ambassador, I was given tickets to facilitate this review…all opinions are 100% my own!
Yesterday, was DJ’s 3rd Birthday!!!! And if you have been following me on my social channels then you know its also his first day of preschool! It was an exciting but emotional day, to say the least! We have had a weekend of FUN! On Friday night we attended Marvel Universe Live at the Q Arena. Saturday we had a family lunch at Dave and Buster’s and Sunday we went to church! Tired is an understatement right now! I think I have been running on pure adrenaline from all of the events and being excited for DJ’s Birthday!
Marvel Universe Live-Age of Heroes Recap…
In 2015, Darrick and I attended Marvel Live and we enjoyed it as a date night. Both children were VERY young so we weren’t sure how well they would take to the show. We were right because this year they thoroughly ENJOYED the show!
The children wore their Marvel T-Shirts that Daddy found for them. The same shirts they wore to the Preview Party!
This year’s storyline was great!
“Spider-Man, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy join forces with Doctor Strange, master of the mystic arts, in a race against time to recover the Wand of Watoomb before it falls into Loki’s hands. This ancient artifact holds immeasurable mystical power and would allow Loki to achieve his eternal quest to crown himself ruler of Asgard and Earth. This all-new show unites some of Marvel’s greatest Super Heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk and Black Widow against some of the most threatening villains. Their journey sparks new feuds with old foes, pitting student against mentor, sister against sister and brother against brother.
The show was AMAZING!!! My children loved it and both my husband and I agreed that it was so much better than the last show we went to! I can’t wait to see what they do next with Marvel Live. And I wasn’t very familiar with Guardians of the Galaxy but I loved Groot…he was HILARIOUS!! It was the PERFECT way to start off DJ’s Birthday Weekend!
The next day we picked up DJ’s Birthday Cake and headed to Dave and Buster’s! We ate lunch, sang Happy Birthday and played in the arcade area…
I have realized that I was pretty selfish with DJ this weekend I am in all the pictures with him! I only took two pictures at Dave and Buster’s; this picture of DJ and I and the Birthday Cake!
Currently, the only thing that DJ plays with is his Football Figurines…so that’s what we got him! Everything centered around Football! He was VERY happy!!
We finished the celebrations with the 1st Day of Preschool and a family ice cream date after school…
