I shared a couple of weeks ago about my trip with my mother and sister to Baltimore,MD. My sister had a conference to attend and we didn’t want her riding by herself so we decided to go with her and venture around the city. My mom and I had a pretty good time, and hated that my sister was in a conference because she would’ve LOVED Phillip’s Seafood!
When we were younger our parents always made sure if we went out of town that we ate at a couple places that they didn’t have in our hometown, it was how your really got a chance to experience a city! So you find out what foods a city is known for and when you go there you make sure you try that food or restaurant that specializes in that particular food.
Our trip to Baltimore was no different!
We stopped at the Inner Harbor to shop because we saw a Marshalls located at the top of a shopping area. We made our way to Marshall’s and while in there we looked out the window and saw Phillips Seafood! We originally planned to eat inside, but once we walked across the street we saw the Crab Deck and decided to eat outside. I try to eat outside any chance I get and since it was warm we decided to give the Crab Deck a try.
We ate at the Crab Deck (#HitTheCrabDeck), located in front of the restaurant.
So let me share a little more about Phillips Crab Deck…
The Crab Deck is located on Baltimore Harbor on an overwater dock. The menu is filled with fresh oysters and clams from our local waters. Known for their Steam Buckets, which are filled with a feast of freshly steamed seafood and the classic Ocean City crab cakes, pan sautéed until golden brown.
When we arrived, we were handed the menu and I wanted to taste EVERYTHING (story of my life when I go to a restaurant)!
We decided to share the Crab & Shrimp Bucket, and it was perfect for the two of us.
The Shrimp and Crab Bucket contained 2 Crabs, half pound of shrimp, Natty Boh Sausage and Corn on the Cob. This was actually my first time eating an entire crab, and I really enjoyed it!
Phillips Seafood provided us the correct tools to make sure the experience with eating the crab was amazing! The other directions were given to me by my mothers since she was a pro! I’ve had crab legs but never the entire crab…so I was very excited, I LOVE seafood!
We had a great time enjoying our crabs on the Crab Deck at Phillips Seafood! Towards the end of our lunch the weather started changing and it became a little chilly.
However, despite the weather rapidly changing on us we had a great time! The food was great and the scenery of being outside eating on the Inner Harbor was AMAZING!
Have you ever eaten at Phillips Seafood Crab Deck?
