I have always loved Peppermints! I remember sitting in church and my grandmother biting a peppermint in half and she would give some to my sister and I to keep us quiet during church service. This is one of the reasons we loved sitting with her instead of our parents…because she kept the peppermints coming!!
Now having children of my own, I use this same trick when we are in places that the children need to be quiet in; church, doctor offices, bank, post office. Along with keeping a TON of these in my purse I also have started adding them to beverages and desserts! Last year during the holidays I crushed some up and added them as a garnish on the top of the icing for brownies.
My family loved the brownies so much that I had to research more ways to incorporate Peppermint treats into our Holidays!! I know they’re going to love them!
