One of my favorite things to do with my husband is browse the isles of the bookstore together. We can literally spend hours in the bookstore! This is something I should probably thank my mom for because she used to take my sister and I to the bookstore on the weekends as a treat!
We all love to read! Its interesting to see how my choice in books has changed over the years!
At this stage in life I love reading self-motivating books! So I was extremely happy when I received Find Your Extraordinary
And that is EXACTLY what Find Your Extraordinary by Jessica Dilullo Herrin {CEO and Founder of Stella & Dot Family Brands} did for me! It helped to spark that motivation I needed to continue on the path of finding my own Extraordinary!
Find Your Extraordinary is a book which helps you to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit inside you – the spirit that allows you to embrace your individuality, to look not just at what is but at what could be, to believe in yourself beyond reason and to step up to creating your own definition of happiness and success – a version of success in which work and family life happily co-exist!
Everyone has a dream of living an extraordinary life…but the best part is everyone’s dream of success and journey getting there is totally different! As I get older I realize the importance of believing in yourself and surrounding yourself with positive people who believe in you as well.
Favorite Quotes from Find Your Extraordinary…

Naysayers will always crop up in your life. Take care to forget their names as quickly as possible. Don’t doubt yourself; doubt the people who doubt you.
“Dreaming big is great. But you still need a work ethic and a will that is at least as big as your dreams. Never assume that success is set aside for the predetermined few who always have the wind at their back. Nor is success only for those who never fall down. Success is simply for those who persevere-those who get back up dust themselves off and try it all over again.”
Your goals should feel uncomfortable!
You are stronger than you know!
Your time will not yield value if you do not value your time!
Chapter 8: Productivity: Dropping the Rubber Balls really spoke to me. As a mom, that now works and wants to continue blogging its hard to juggle everything! I may go back SOON and re-read this chapter and really take notes on how to balance my time!
Honestly, if you are looking for a book to help motivate yourself, this is your book! Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down! I know this book will forever be one of my go to books when I need something to get me out of a rut or if I need some motivation. Its also just an overall good book…so if you need something good to read this is perfect!!
