At the beginning of the year, the family cracked down with my mom because she was getting ready for weight loss surgery. We all needed to lose weight so we did it together as a family. We all lost quite a bit of weight with small changes to our diet…however, as time went on my husband and I fell off and as the end of the year approaches; the time of the year when ALL the holidays are surrounded with a bunch of food I would like to get a handle on my weight loss again.
When I came back from vacation and looking through our pictures I realized that it is time to get back on track. I felt like I did so well at the very beginning of the summer…but seeing this picture, kind of made me sad at the way my midsection looks! I was having fun with my children, but I wasn’t happy with the way I looked!
As my husband and I approach getting back on track we will be doing more planning in advance, meal preparation and using alli® weight loss aid.
If you have never heard of alli® weight loss aid, it is the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss aid on the market. It works by blocking 25% of the fat you eat from being absorbed by your body*.
In looking back at the time when I was losing weight, the one thing that stood out to me is planning and preparation! I am planner by nature (I plan on my phone and in my Erin Condren planner)…and this time around I want to be more consistent in planning and staying organized!
I created a Daily Health Tracker for my husband and I to keep better track of what we are doing on a daily basis so we will know what areas need improvement.
