After having my first child, I felt like my body went through lots of changes. Some of these changes occurred right after childbirth, and some changed overtime. Mostly everything at some point was discussed with my mom or sister or even the doctor. However, there were a few things I didnt find out until I entered the Motherhood and its secret society. One of the “big secrets” that has probably only been discussed with other mothers was the condition of your bladder after you carry a child! Emma was a pretty big baby…she weighed 9lbs at birth. Then after her I went on to have twins that were 6lbs a piece (closer to 7lbs).
My bladder was in ok shape after Emma, but then to follow up with pretty big twins my bladder is pretty much SHOT! I quickly learned that after childbirth you are more prone to bladder leakage. Often times when you think of bladder leakage you think of older people, however, this is very common in women in their 20’s and 30’s right after having children. Some experience it while exercising, laughing and sometimes even sneezing.
So that leaves many women wondering…What to Wear for Bladder Leakage?
