Whew!
I am tired…we have been moving and shaking since last weekend…
Last weekend, we took family pictures and took a family trip to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium (working on that post, but of course my pictures wont load for some reason…please Jesus help them upload on the blog correctly)…
DJ slept the entire time at the Aquarium, but Emma LOVED it…she sang, danced, and talked to the fish! HA!
Saturday Morning, we took family pictures! I had only planned to get the kids pics taken, but at the last minute I decided to make them into a family session (worked out great…but getting a toddler and infant to smile at the same time…WORK)!!!
I was literally sweating by the end of the shoot trying to get both of them to cooperate at the same time…
Douglass smile says it all in this picture…he clearly wasn’t on the family pictures! This has to be one of my favorites, because it really shows his personality…if he’s not on it you will know it right away! Trait that he gets from his father…I see a filter is one of the first things he needs to learn…
Here are a few more pics…
Sunday, Douglass was Blessed at Church…
We only have a few pics, thanks to a friend that captured some with her phone! I had to lighten a few so you can see the full shot!
I look crazy in a few pics, I couldn’t stop crying on Sunday! Getting the babies blessed is a big thing in our religion. And when I found out I was having twins it was one of the things I was looking forward to with both of them. And although I celebrate Douglass being Blessed, it makes me miss Darrick II so much more!
Last weekend was hard for Darrick and I altogether, because again taking family pictures when you feel a piece of your heart is missing is hard! We are coping but just some of those “first” are hard for us…
Douglass did really well! I was a little nervous because sometimes he can be very fidgety…didn’t cry and he just laid in our pastors’ arms while they prayed for him!
Yesterday, Emma started preschool (but that gets an entire post by itself)…
This weekend, I am looking forward to chilling out…
Just typing all of that made me tired all over again…
Since Emma is back in school, I think its time to start working again…possibly part-time or a work from home job. Darrick and I have talked and we both think it would be good. I still want to take her to school and spend as much time with Douglass as I can so I am on the search for something that will fit into our schedule that we currently have!
Do any work from home? Any suggestions on places to look??
