As Emma gets closer to 3 years old some of my nervousness that I have as a new mom has gone away. However, since I now have twins I have noticed that some of those “worries” that I had as a first time mom have started to come back. When Emma was a newborn, Darrick (my husband) and I had a lot of hand-on teaching because she was in the NICU for the first 50 days of her life. Although it wasn’t our ideal situation, we learned a great deal from the doctors and nurses. We would often joke about being able to go through nursing school with flying colors because of what we learned.
As I get back in the swing of having infants (even with one being in the hospital) I have to pay attention to poop schedules and the actual color of their poop. Prior to having children you worry about your own pooping schedule, and make sure you go at least a couple times a week if not more. However, its another “ball game” when it comes to a baby, you pay attention to the color, smell, size…literally you have to exam poop! LOL its funny but true, and in talking to other moms what’s normal for your child may not be normal for another child.
But Pampers is here to help…with a Infant Stool Color Guide! It is very important to know what the color of your childs poop is. By looking at their poop you can simply tell if this is how it’s supposed to look or if their is something going on with your child.
Another thing new moms worry about is Diaper Rash…Pampers is here to help again!!! Take a look at this chart to help you with all your Diaper Rash Questions; I actually wish there was something around for myself when I was a first time mom!
