This year we are hosting Thanksgiving again…
I think its actually my “holiday” you know how everyone has a holiday they cook for! Well we wanted to switch things up this week by frying the turkey rather than cooking it in the oven.
Now I must admit I am a little scared of the process because I have heard so many horror stories associated with frying a turkey.
Well lets get into seasonings…Many of the recipes I found are Cajun seasoned fried turkey
The Food Network Recipe
Cajun Seasoning or Creole Seasonings
What stood out from this recipe is the fact that you need to make sure you rub the spices in the inside cavity of the turkey. That ensures that not only is the outside seasoned, but from the inside out is seasoned as well!

Buffalo Ranch Fried Turkey
(Recipe)
Actually when I read this, just to think about the turkey being Buffalo Ranch sounds gross to me! However, when I read the ingredients list it actually seems like it would taste pretty good! Seems like it would be a different taste than the normal!
Everyday Diabetic Recipes
Southern Fried Turkey
(Recipe)
This recipe is a basic recipe! Sounds good though!!!
This one seems the easiest of the three, but it will give you your basic flavored turkey!
I pinned all these to my Pinterest Board
I also found a set of directions that will come in handy…
