Since Emma has turned 1 years old the hardest part of my job has been trying to get her to eat! Now Emma is clearly that child that will sit and eat with you, but when it comes to her food she isn’t a fan. She was doing good with baby-food and she does well with regular food but finding a variety and making sure that she is getting the fruits and veggies has been a little challenging. Her favorite thing to eat is Spaghetti O’s (and although I don’t mind her eating that I don’t like her eating a lot of them because they are processed), but what I have done is thrown in a few veggies to help her get in her veggies!
I went searching the internet for food ideas for Toddlers…and found a few things on Pinterest that I wanted to share for those who have toddlers. This chart below gave me a few more choices of things to feed Emma…

Now with Emma I have to be a little careful with the foods that I give her because unlike most toddlers Emma only has one tooth. She has a couple coming in but they are pretty slow and this is due to her being born with a Cleft Lip/Palate…crazy how at the hospital they tell you after she has surgery everything will be fine. But we are finding out as we go there are a few delays in things developing…

I also found this chart that also gives more information on how much food to give and at what age to give it to the child.
There are a few other pictures on “My Munchkin” Pinterest board that has links to feeding toddlers…
