This weekend was Ahhhhmazing!!!
I got to spend time with my husband!! You dont even understand how much I have been missing him on the weekends! He has been working non-stop…even the people at work have been telling him to slow down a bit (he worked like two weeks straight of 7 days a week…the money is good but there comes a point when I just need time with my Husband)! Honestly, we could’ve stayed in the house all weekend and I would’ve been happy because I just wanted him home!
If you follow me on Instagram (@greeneyedladycarissa) you have seen some of these photos already! We started our weekend of festivities at the CAVS game. The CAVS played the Clippers…we obviously didnt bring the Cavs any luck because they ended up losing so we left there during the 3rd quarter! But that didnt stop us from having fun together!

A man yelled out “Free Picture” so I jumped at the chance…I dont think Darrick was too excited! LOL!

So I havent been to a game in FOREVER! So I was actually very excited to be there…when we got there we were STARVING because we came straight from my doctors appointment (more to come on that later)!
I didnt get a chance to take a pic of my food but we had burgers from Michael Symon’s B-Spot Burgers. Darrick and I are BIG Michael Symon (Chef from The Chew) fans! We go to B-Spot often, and we have also been to Lola Bistro which is more upscale than his burger joints…but needless to say I was EXCITED to see it in the Arena! Great to have something a step above the regular arena food!
After the game we went to the Casino…we didnt strike it rich but we did win a couple of dollars. But with everyone coming from the game, and the casino regulars it was a mad house in there…so we didnt stay long at all!
Saturday we made our way to the Auto Show…

Sunday we must’ve been wiped out because Darrick woke up without a voice…
so we played hookie from church and stayed home!
But Darrick was feeling good enough to make some of his famous pancakes and the little one thoroughly enjoyed them!
So Darrick goes back to work Tuesday…and I am back to my normal routine and trying to play catch up with homework! Darn that Procrastination Spirit…I should’ve gotten homework done prior to my busy weekend! But what am I doing now…Blogging and doing Homework!
