Emma’s Christmas started on Christmas Eve. Darrick and I wanted a chance to open presents with her with just the three of us…so since we spend Christmas morning with my family and Christmas afternoon with her. We decided to open presents with her on Christmas Eve! I made Christmas dinner of Steak, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes, and Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions! It was a hit!!!
Before we started our family festivities we went over Darrick’s family house because his brother was in town and he wasnt going to be in town for Christmas. They had a small spread for lunch/dinner and we bowled on the Playstation! Fun Times!
Before we left we prepped the house as if Santa had been there already, so we sat everything out and on the way out we covered Emma up with a blanket so she couldnt see…
We laid all the presents out for her to see…
Once we got back we sat her on the floor and watched her response…I think she was SURPRISED! She had a look like where did all of this come from!
Then we took off her coat, and got her relaxed on the floor and we went through all the presents from Mommy and Daddy (well Santa and Mrs. Clause) LOL!
