This weekend was by far one of the best Thanksgiving Weekends ever. Honestly, I’m not sure if its because it was Thanksgiving or if it was because we just needed a break! I can probably speak for all of us in that the past few weeks have been a little stressful and all is well now!
Wednesday, I worked all day…but it was a light day because we didn’t have any students! So we ended up ordering pizza, which was ahhhhhmazing! We ordered from this place that had all these random flavored pizza…the Bangkok flavored pizza was the BOMB!!!
Wednesday night I started cooking for Thanksgiving…I made pies and we started working on some of the meat (corned beef, and ham). I was so tired I honestly didn’t feel like cooking much of anything but I knew I didn’t have that option.
Sweet Potato Pies (Yum…makes me want a piece NOW)!!
My first Turkey!!! I used this recipe and it turned out great!!! It was nice and juicy and everyone liked it so, overall I was happy!
Emma passed out while I got her dressed on Thanksgiving Day! LOL!
We had planned to let Emma spend the night with her grandparents so we could go shopping early Friday morning, but we were so tired…she stayed home and we slept all night. We got out Friday and went to the mall but that trip was mainly to find stuff for family pictures on Saturday morning!
Family pictures turned out GREAT…it has been so long since we have taken family pictures! I think I was still in high school so we were LONG overdue!! We took pictures at Portrait Innovations

After pictures we grabbed a quick bite to eat, then we went over my parents house for the game…OSU/MICHIGAN game! Its now a family tradition to go over there and watch football!
It was a great week for all of my teams; OSU, ALABAMA, CLEVELAND BROWNS!!!! Whoop Whoop winning weekend!!! All of my teams played their rivals and won!!! Which was even better!!!
Sunday we played hookie from church to regroup from the days before!
It was a great weekend I feel refreshed and I am looking forward to Christmas!
How was your holiday weekend??
