Do you drive a “mommy car” or a “family car”???
Darrick and I plan to eventually expand our family! LOL that sounds like we are planning on having a BUNCH of kids!! NOPE! Two or Three at the most!
We have been exploring the idea of a family car, or a mommy car for myself! So after looking over a few I have a bunch of pros and cons! I personally like the crossover/SUV type of vehicles…one just because I like the style and room, but also because of the snow! I am all for something that can get me through the snow! Now don’t get me wrong I love my “Josie” the Jetta and she is PRETTY GOOD in the snow, but we are running out of room with her in the inside!
My sister currently drives the Madza CX9, and she has 3 children! She loves it and I must say Madza knew what they were doing when they made that car! It has a third row, it’s very spacious, and rides really well! If we all have to go somewhere together we usually pile up in her car!
Below I have a few pictures of cars that fall into the same category in my book! They are nice vehicles, enough room for kids, and they aren’t MINIVANS!!! Although I would love to be a football mom (once I have my boy…speak it into existence), I plan to be the stylish football mom! HA!
These are a few of my picks!
And after posting the question on Twitter…one of my fellow bloggers Trina suggested the Lexus! She said it was the ultimate mommy car and fly!!! She totally gets it…something that is stylish and will transport the babies! I find with the HUGE car seats, it almost mandatory that you invest in something bigger!
When did you invest in a “Mommy” or “Family Car” was it after having a couple of babies? Or after the first one because you knew you were going to have more? If you don’t drive an SUV as a “mommy/family car” what type of car (Sedan) would you suggest?
Or what works for you and your baby/babies?
