I saw this link up last week, but it was hectic and I didn’t have a chance to do my nails…so I said this weekend I was going to do something to participate! Well I had the chance to get my nails done this weekend-I got a Shellac Manicure! I kept it simple because I had Emma with me and I didn’t want her to start crying from being restless! I got this purple color-I wanted something for the fall and had to make a quick decision! I was just so happy to get a manicure I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t even have time to look at the actual color name!

1. Tell us what you studied in college. Is your job now related to what you studied?
I was a Communication Major, and a Textile and Clothing minor! I initially wanted to go into Fashion PR, but once I started researching it I knew I wouldn’t want to do that forever so I stayed in the field I was in, Higher Education. I had a part time job at a school which turned into a full time position, then I changed to a traditional university…so I currently work as a Enrollment Service Counselor at a University.
2. Tell us what your everyday job looks like.
Everyday I talk to students and parents (more parents than students) regarding financial aid and registration. Or some students come in just to talk to us about life, and I talk about that too!
3. Do you have a picture of you at work? Show us.
No, but this is where I work!
4. In 10 years, what do you see yourself doing? Same thing? More? Tell us.
Honestly, I couldn’t tell you! I hope to be more advanced in my career in Higher Education and hopefully teaching online! I would love to teach a few classes online so I wouldn’t have to go into the office!
