I come from a family of Eye Glass wearers! LOL! My Mom, Sister, Father, Nephew, Niece, and I wear them too! I have vision insurance from my job, when I first started working at this university my benefits were explained to me and a few other people and when it came to vision insurance, we were told we could apply for the insurance but often times people opt out of it. When I saw that we had VSP I knew that I wouldn’t be opting out of this insurance because of how great it is! I started wearing glasses around the age of 18, and its mainly because I am a computer geek…I stay on the computer! I use my glasses mainly for reading purposes, and for when I am on the computer and I have to focus on the screen for long periods of time. I currently have Gucci frames but not at the Gucci price…and I can thank VSP for that!
My family had VSP when I was growing up, and I have had it with the two “adult jobs” I have had! The insurance works great and it covers quite a bit so you don’t come out paying hundreds of dollars for stylish frames! Its actually time for me to get some new glasses so I will be going right to my Optometrist that takes my VSP insurance…I will update you on the process soon!!!
