I used an old picture for this post because I am having a missing my hair moment! HA!
I titled this post this ” I fell in love with my Husband this morning” because I did! Darrick and I were SUPER tired this morning because Emma had us up from 2am-3am! Her pack and play stays on his side of the room, so no matter what kind of sounds she makes, or cries…he gets up and checks on her! He will change her diaper and hand her off to me to put her back to sleep…TEAMWORK at its best! HA!
This morning I turned the alarm clock off and went back to sleep, I ended up getting up at 7:15 and had to be at work by 8:30! However, by the time I got out of the shower, he was up and moving around…he was actually dusting because he said all of us were snoring last night and its probably because of the dust! HA…its probably because we all were super tired…or we were just snoring! But I just looked at him maneuver around this morning and I thought…he is just a great guy!!! Emma woke up after I got out of the shower, so I immediately went into Mommy mode and started changing her diaper…he grabbed her and said he would finish and even took her to the front and sat her down while he went to move the cars so I could get out the house fast!
I looked at the two of them as I walked out the door…Emma in his arms holding on to his ear (I love to see her holding on to Daddy’s ear)! We had a kiss fest before I left (I kiss her, then him, then her, then him) by that time she is laughing…she loves group hugs and kisses! When I called to tell him that I got to work safely he started talking business then said okay well have a good day…LOVE YOU! But this warmed my heart because he is just AWESOME!!! He takes such good care of us and I fell in love all over again this morning!
