This is what I feel like…

There has been so much going on since the end of July…I felt like I havent had the chance to just sit down and write a blog post, or get my barrings together!
The Sunday before Emma’s Surgery, we had her Blessed (Christened) at church. We wanted to have her blessed before she went in for surgery, and I believe it helped me and Darrick to know that she had an EXTRA covering and prayers not only coming from family but our church family and family friends as well.
She was sleep at church before they blessed her! For some reason I didnt take a BUNCH of pictures and I am a little tempted to put the dress back on her and take some more pictures!
Then there was surgery and everything went well with that…THANK YOU JESUS!
Since then Darrick and I have been trying to get back on schedule! Emma is off her daily schedule of going to sleep at night between 8:30-9:15 (she did it last night…but I was too tired to enjoy it and take advantage of having an hour to myself)!
While all of this was going on with the surgeries and stuff…I decided that I wanted to go back to school! I am not going back into my higher education program, I am going into an Intervention Specialist Program where I will obtain my Masters and Teaching License! I feel so good about this decision!! I got my acceptance email yesterday and I sent my paperwork in today so I can get registered. WHOOP WHOOP!!! I have always wanted to teach, but I played around with the decision so much, then when I finally realized that I could teach but also work with special needs kids like Emma I said that is exactly what I wanted to do! So I will go back to school starting August 27, 2012!!!
I also have been trying to keep our diets on the right path, its so easy when everything is going on to start eating bad things! I have been trying to at least eat a couple of meals a week with no meat instead of going meatless altogether! Now all we need to incorporate is exercise…seems like with all the running around I do for Emma I would be in TERRIFIC shape…NOT! LOL!
