For many of you, today is the first day of school for your little ones!
But for me, today is my first day of school too!!! Today I start the online program for becoming a teacher!! This is something that I wanted to do a while ago, but after having Emma I really have a passion for the kids. Currently, I work in Higher Education and I have been feeling drained in the career I am in. Now I love the students and working with them, but some of the “politics” of working where I am have taken a toll on me! So I still would like to stay in education I would just like to do something else. In going to an Occupational Therapist appointment with Emma, I thought to myself this is something I could do! But after researching it, I didnt want to go back to school to become a therapist because, although, I have my Bachelors that would be A LOT of schooling! LOL! So I thought about it more and eventually researched becoming an Intervention Specialist I knew I was making the right decision!!!
